Marco Ferdinando Martorana è Professorre associato di Scienze delle Finanze. Ha conseguito la laurea in Economia e Commercio (v.o) e il dottorato in Economia pubblica presso l’Università di Catania e il Master of Science in Applied Economics and Data Analysis presso la University of Essex (UK). È stato titolare di assegni di ricerca presso l’Università di Catania e visiting researcher alla Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Ha insegnato Public Economics per il corso di laurea in Economia all’Università di Catania e Introduction to Economics presso la Università Ca Foscari di Venezia. Attualmente insegna Scienza delle Finanze (CdL in Economia Aziendale), Economia e Regolamentazione dei mercati (CdLM in Direzione Aziendale), e Introduction to STATA (Ph.D. in Economics, Management and Decision Making). Ha ottenuto la Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale (ASN) al ruolo di Professore Ordinario in Scienza delle Finanze. I suoi interessi di ricerca riguardano l'analisi dell'efficienza del settore pubblico, l’economia della cultura e l’economia sanitaria.
